Oiled Lapancho Wood (Handroanthus Impetiginosus)
A solid wood cutting board made from reclaimed Lapacho, an exceptionally dense South American hardwood valued for its weight, durability, and deep natural grain.
Substantial and notably heavy in the hand, each board carries the rich variation in tone and grain characteristic of reclaimed Lapacho. The material is remarkably durable and develops greater character with use.
Because we work with reclaimed wood rather than standardized new stock, these boards are produced only in very limited batches. Natural variation in color, grain, markings, and tone is part of each piece.
Over time, the Lapacho will deepen with use, developing a patina that reflects the life of the kitchen.
Great for serving a beautiful spread or as a wonderful cutting board.
