How handsome is this pair of elegant20th Century Brass Vases. They are a form of 'Trench art' which is a term used to describe objects made from the debris and by-products of modern warfare. These 2 vases were made from oversized shell casings dated 1944 and 1945 were made by servicemen to pass the time when not in the front line. So much history in such unassuming pieces, they would be beautiful addition on a mantel, table or in an entryway.
