We love this charming petit antique Mauchline 2-piece rectangular lidded box from Scotland. It is decorated with a romantic graphic 'Lovers Seat' and would be a  sweet keepsake box or way to present a special treasure.

Mauchline (pronounced Mawk-lun) Ware​ was a line of keepsakes and decorative items produced from about 1850 through 1933 by small shops in and around Mauchline, Scotland.​ Many of these​ keepsakes bore the images of Scottish castles, abbeys, lochs and rills.​
